Talk:RyansWorld: World beat music

[edit] Some Speculation of the Date Accuracy
Perhaps the date settings are a little too inaccurate. Perhaps if the author tagged on an additional 60 or 70 years onto those dates, it would seem more reasonable. Even if people did listen to music in foreign languages, there are a lot of different types of foreign music out there besides world beat, including foreign Rock and foreign Metal.
[edit] America Hates Its Self
In Israel we often listen to American music. As many people in America also listen to Israeli music (i.e. Most Goa trance) So this article (like most of your articles)is flawed. What is "World Beat" African drums? Israeli Metal? Indian sitar? It has no definition. Some people still like American music. Not just in America but in almost every country. For instance: Paris Hilton's "Stars Are Blind" was #1 in Hungary. That's because America has a highly developed music scene. I doubt that will stop because a couple of liberal radicals say western culture is evil. And yes, I realize my writing is bad...English is still my 2nd language. --IsraeliDisko 04:33, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
