Classic science fiction had difficulties adapting to the knowledge about the future that was suddenly available thanks to transhumanism in the late 20th century. PopSci asked Is Science Fiction About to Go Blind? Transhumanist authors responded to the challenge by adopting the knew outlook on the future and embracing supertechnologies.
