Scenario: The Female-Dominated Work Force of the Future
From Future
Title does not match figures. Should this be 'robot dominated workforce of the future'? (51% robot)
In the start of the 20th century, only 1% percent of the global work force was female. Meanwhile, 99% of the worldwide work force (blue collar and white collar) were males. The global workforce reached "human equality" in the late 1970s with the global workforce consisting of 49% male, 49% female, and 2% robot. Since then, robots are more advanced and are willing to do more jobs in heavy industry, farming, and in extremely dangerous environments. Trucks will eventually drive by themselves and truck drivers will be out of a job by the year 2047.
It is predicted because of the world is becoming more matriarchal, by the end of the 21st century, the international work force will be 1% male, 49% female, and 51% robot. Out of a possible future world population of over 8.6 billion people, this would mean that:
- 8,000,000 of the world's work force will be male
- 3,920,000,000 of the world's work force will be female
- 4,000,000,000 people will enjoy a life of leisure that people in the year 2007 cannot afford
- 720,000,000 people will either be children between the ages of 0-15 or senior citizens over the age of 65
The other numbers not counted into this figure are: people living on Mars, people living in space, people living in colonies on the Moon, and people living outside our solar system. The term "robot" can refer to an automated device, an android, or a cyborg. It does not refer to a personal computer, a laptop computer, or the Internet.
