RyansWorld: Formula One
From Future
[edit] The One True Belief
Throughout the 21st century, Formula One will be seen as "stuffy," "elitist," and "a training ground for future NASCAR racers." Viewership of Formula One will decline as people check out the technological advances, female racers, and "foreigners" of the Sprint Cup. By the middle of the 21st century, the financial resources of Formula One will dip into the red. At this point, Formula One will be forced to merge with NASCAR.
Viewership will start to decline around the year 2017 when NASCAR becomes a competition of the world's best drivers, as opposed to just North America's best drivers. The end of Formula One will be seen as early as the year 2030 as NASCAR international reputation is fully developed. The Formula One designs will live on, however, to motivate the car designs from the late 2030s to early 22nd century. At this point, stock car racing will be performed primarily by women, foreigners, robots, and extraterrestrials.
[edit] Heretic Views from Foreigners
Most foreigners strongly believe that a "local sportscar category made by egg-shaped tracks" should never will replace a world wide loved sport like Formula One. They falsely believe that when the Americans learn to appreciate cars other than the ones that are made in America, they will learn why a sport made by more than 16 countries will never be replaced by the "American way" of racing. In reality, Formula One is boring to watch compared to 4 hours of the most exciting white knuckle adrenaline of the Sprint Cup and Nationwide Cup series.
