[edit] Objectives for September 2006
Things that I have already accomplished:
- Gain attention for this site through Interwiki
- Remodel the Main Page based on the New Main Page
- Attach a tutorial to the Main Page, linking to Basics, Guideline, and Concepts
- Establish a Standard Timeline
- Modify the Sidebar
- Delete articles smaller than 50 bytes
- Combine some articles
- Created a table template for easy movement between various articles at Template:Future
- Create various templates for better collaborative effort, such as Template:Welcome, Template:Contribute, Template:Quality, Template:Objectives, Template:Dispute, Template:Vote, and Template:Complex
Things that we need to work on for the remainder of this month (hopefully by then we will be finished with them):
- Gain attention for this site through Wikia Spotlight
- Delete articles with nothing but a simple link (ie. no description)
- Merge articles with links and descriptions to a Links page, and then delete them
Thanks for your time and effort.

[edit] Categorizing work
In addition, most of the pages are not categorized. I will categorize the Main pages as such very soon, but I will need help for categorizing all other pages.
[edit] Categories
I've successfully attached one or more of the following categories to each of the longest 100 pages on this wikia:
- Category:Concepts
- Category:Future Biology
- Category:Future Electronics
- Category:Future Engineering
- Category:Future Sociopolitical
- Category:Future Spacecraft
- Category:Scenario
The addition of Special:Categories to the Sidebar allows users to more rapidly access futures articles by topic.
And Paranoid, you haven't been doing much communication lately...
Note: Please help out with cleaning the site by deleting the shortest pages (stubs). These can be accessed through Special:Shortpages, also found on the sidebar.
[edit] Objectives for October
Despite my constant work on deleting and merging stubs, it turns out that there are simply too many on this site. Oh well... So there still exists plenty of such stubs. That means that the site has a lot more pages than there really should be. We still need to work on this task this month.
Other things we need to get done:
- Write a few good articles
- Categorize all pages as one or more of the six main categories. Note that scenario pages generally have bits of biology, electronics, engineering, sociopolitical ,and spacecraft as well, in which case please include those as well in the category section. Note that I have already categorized all of the longest 100 pages.
- Review the present long articles for grammatical/spelling errors

[edit] Target 400
Let's try to get to 400 pages by the end of this month. We have 20 days and 130 pages left, so that's new 6.5 pages per day. If we each write two pages per day, we will have a lot more than that by the end of October.
Here's your incentive: do your part and I'll post a Medal of Honor.jpg on your user page. (It's really pretty). --Yunzhong Hou 02:04, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
